I believe in sniping insofar as it means shooting from a hidden position, and I even think that it's possible to pull off some long range shots with a little bit of luck, but more often the case is going to be that they're close enough to spot you and then you're going to be in a firefight. If you're shooting from a hidden position and drop one without being spotted, I'd stay hidden. If they haven't spotted you, they're going to be looking for that second shot. The chances of them seeing a completely unexpected shot are slim, but if they're lookin for it, chances are you're not going to get away with it. Excercise patience and sit it out. When they move on, stalk them and pop another one when the opportunity presents itself. Pulling off one-shotters with a good pump and paint-to-barrel match shouldn't be a problem at all.
