Exclamation **rate My Gun Rules**

These are simple rules that will be followed by all. The forum-wide rules precede these and are all powerful.

There will be NO flaming or spamming of this section. For a complete look, check here >>>Spamming, Flaming and many other rules defined

For Thread Authors

In your authored thread in the ratings section, the title should be clearly read. The moderator, super moderator or admin viewing this section at the time will change your thread's name if it doesn’t specify the gun. This seems strict but it is for ease of use. If you want to spice up your name with aggs and 1337's that is acceptable as long as the name of the marker is clearly stated somewhere in the title.

The thread should contain a full-bodied description of the marker including brand, specifications, after market parts and cosmetic accessories. List every part of the gun so that raters can place a clear mark for the gun.

The new part of the ratings is that you will place your gun in a specific gun range. It will be price range. The ranging will go from $1-350 $350-700 and 700 and up. This is important to know that your gun will be rated within a set of guns and not overall.

Place a picture that is either attached to the forum using our attachment tool which requires the size to be under 80 k. Or you can host your picture on one of many free hosting companies such as uploadit.org sighost.com or hunt101.com just to name a few. After hosting you picture then place image tags or [img] [/img] around your linked picture. You MUST provide a picture with your gun description or it WILL get deleted.

For raters

When rating a thread don’t just throw out a number. Put some thought into the factors they listed of the specs parts and cosmetics. You are rating on all aspects of the gun which would involve the flow of the gun from looks all the way to performance.

You will follow the rules below and keep the rating to divisions and you will give justification for your rating. A 10 will not cut it, you must rectify your rating with a comment of praise on parts or ideas on where to go next.

Not using the system as the rules show will result in a reduction in rep points.

The new system and how it will help you

This is the most important part of this forum. This rule will be followed by all. You will rate the gun by its division or class. Do not rate a gun against altogether different guns. For example do not rate a stock-class paintball gun against the top-of-the-line angel or other guns. Rate it by price and category.

Raters can list on both overall and in-the-price divisions but can not just lay down a random overall number and call it rating.

The divisions again are:
1-350

350-700

700 and above

*These rules were written by Nick (BUBBASR.). He deserves the rep points on this one, not me
