It is one of the funnest guns to work on.
It works similar to the Cocker, except the Rainmaker is based on the Sterling pump (not the Sniper pump).

If you understand the Cocker, you will understand the RM.
Its also pretty forgiving, since the trigger-timing is FIXED, the dwell is fixed, the LPR is fixed. (same for debounce, etc).
There is nothing to screw up, as far as timing goes (the major headache on the cocker). FPS is adjusted via the REG which is the ONLY adjustment on the gun.

They stopped making them years ago, but fortunetly, the Rainmaker uses alot of "off the shelf" parts. The ram, noid, and barrel are all found on other guns.
The reg, LPR, grip, valve and board from other guns can be "made to fit".
The only proprietary parts are the bolt, carrier and hammer. They are nearly identical to the Sterling/Vector, but I don't know if they are compatable.

They are also VERY easy to convert to mech, or pump. All around a great "tinker gun", but not recommended for a newb. They have some issues, and you will NOT likely get any support from your local field.
They would have probobly been forgotten a few years ago, but PB-something sold a few thousand off for $100, and lots of people are using them again.
