Thanks for the info.
Since you already answered me without knowing the type of goggles, I will ignore the first part of your statement. Since you throw back a blanket statement that takes very little insight to answer I will ignore the second part of your statement.
The reason I am sitting here thinking about it is that the stakes are pretty high - considering I cannot hear very well and need my eyes. The plastic cover on the paintholder is three times as thick as any lens I have seen - so it raises some concern. Everyone who saw the paintball go through the paintholder was swallowing hard and looking worried. Why wait until someone loses an eye to think about it.
I am going to take an old mask out to my cabin this weekend and test it. I will turn the gun up as high as it will go and try to break the lens on my old mask. The basic mask that comes with a custom 98 package. They seem cheap and poorly designed. I will post on Monday and let folks know how it went.
