Profiler review
I'm wearking it as we speak. Dispite what people say I'm going to have to say it is the best mask.. For me at least. I'll explain.
First thing I noticed when I picked it up was how light it was. I had been runnign around with a JT nVader for the past year and it was like switching form an lead marker to a plastic one.
Another thing I noticed was how 'squishy' it was. Its VERY flexible. You can push in on some spots of the grill and it will bend in an inch or two in some spots. I've heard a lot about how its able to take many bounces, and never thought much of it until I held it in my hand.
Then I put it on my head. It was VERY easy to slip on and off for a kid with glasses. I'm getting contacts soon for pball, but if you wear glasses, this mask is great. If you look in the back of it inside, you'll notice how small the foam lining is. But when you get it on, its like you can see everything.
I put my arms out and wiggled my fingers. A full 180 degree sight, if not more. I could even dart my eyes over and still have a pretty good field of vision.
It has a VERY low profile. Not as low as something like an Invision, but from top to bottom, it might be 7 or 8 inches. From side to side its about 8 or 9 inches. These are guestimates, when I get a ruler I'll check it out and edit.
I immediately started hyperventalating when I got it on. Becuase of the design, all of my breath went out. The grill in the front has excellent ventalation. Don't ount on your own breath fogging up the lens. Any fog will come from the humidity/heat of your area.
Some cons...
The visor is way not cool. The spikey thing it comes with is cool, but I'm not going to wear it becuase I wear a boonie hat when I'm in teh woods. In speedball it might go on.
The lens is easy to get off, but Its hard the first few times. Once you get the hang of it is very easy. Under 10 second removal.
