I definately think so.

Once it's set up right, your completely chop free and trouble free.I almost never use the ACE on my Xmag.I can't say that with an eye system.I have break beam eyes (as opposed to reflective) on a number of markers and while thats a great system,it's not perfect.Eyes can get out of alignment, they can get dirty, they can get 'blinded' by paint broken for other reasons. For instance,on my Alias w/ frenzy,if the eyes fail for what ever reason the board defaults to 10bps.Trust me,that sucks worse than a chopped ball.On either my Shocker or Imp w/ vision(reflective eyes),if the eye fails because you have a color paint it doen't 'see' or they get 'blinded' by paint from a barrel break or your getting sunlight into the feedneck or....whatever.....you can't shoot at all.Talk about suck.

The other issue with Mags is they 'are' more apt to break paint than other markers (no,it's not a myth )for 2 reasons.Chopping is just one of them and is simply related to ROF which until reccently was far greater than anything else out there and the available loaders. The other is the initial speed of the bolt. The Level 7 bolt,it was eventually found out,has such a great bolt speed initially that it will/may crack or otherwise damage the next ball waiting to fall in the breach as it passes under it.You then end up breaking that 'next' ball on the next shot regardless of ROF.That occurance does vary from gun to gun but is pretty much why alot of people have had such a bad time with mags. The main function of the Level 10 bolt is to have a much slower initial bolt speed which eliminates that issue entirely.

2 fixes for the price of one....neat huh?

Sounds like a good deal to me.

Jay.
