um, spud guns are very prone to exploding... and I've seen it happen a few times, when I was having them developed by my team of moronic 17 year olds a few years ago. it's very possible to maim or kill the operator in a misfire.

and I used electric or spinning flint ignitors in mine, cause they were much less dangerous, and you don't need 2 people to fire it.

use a bike pump or electric car pump to power it, along with two ball valves. thet's usually the best way to do it.
