Dang, that is a tuff call. Still seems a bit high for a older 68 classic, even with a tank and "maybe" mask. I guess it might depend on the tank and the hydro date on it. If it is a larger tank with good life left in it, maybe.
Personally I wouldn't, I don't think. For less than $200 I might, but not $300 unless it is REAL nice. You should check back later and see what Medic, Alpha and AGD_kid think about that price. My bet is he still wants a little too much for that setup is what they will tell you.
Good luck haggling with him...

ah now you got specs up . nah man i ouldnt give three for that. might be worth 2-250 with a decent tank, but you can pick em up for a 100$ off ebay nowadays right and left

Not really, especially when you can get a paradigm for $439. The only thing that would bring the price up a bit would be the box and everything. Does it come with the original video? I mean that stuff is just kind of useless but does raise the value a bit. I would spend around $150-$200 on it.

Tell him $230 adn you've got a deal.
What kind of tank?
Hopper must be worth around 30. Sounds like an intelliframe or a benchmark.. Intellis are worth about 60. Tools about $10.. Tank about$20. Mask maybe $30...
And you can pick them up for about$100 online like previously states. $230-$250 is way more like it.

worst you can do is offer $230 and see what he says, then jsut start going up by $10 or so till he's happy with the price.

if its a N2 tank then 230-250 is good, if not, there is a good chance that it has been used with co2 and will probly need a rebuild, so subtract a price for a parts kit, and then try to get it low enough that you can afford a N2 (find a cheap used one online).
