Anyways, I dont see whats the dealio with mags... People keep saying they shoot so so fast and all this other stuff that doesnt really matter. Giving the wrong impression on people who are looking to get a mag, only to be let down by how slow it really is...
...now alpha is going to say something like: I can walk 17bps on my mag.
No alpha. No you cant.

My fingers did it, gun shot into the mic, soundtest... http://img150.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img1...antwalk8cp.jpg
Whatver, believe what you will.
Mags are fast. With a ULT or excess pressure you can be bouncing 20+bps.

Yeah with 50 shims in the ULT, anyone can walk that fast.
17bps is hard enough to get on a electric gun... Your saying you can walk (legally) 17bps.. how fast do you walk on a electric? 30?
Yeah mags are fast, once you add shims or raise the input pressure... which is illegal.

ok!
1) Mags Are Fast With or without Rapid Fire, Ult, Or Together.
2) Alpha Got 17 Bps By Bounce With The Ult, Which Is Illegal If A Heaf Ref Says It Is. Raising Input Pressure For Rapid Fire Is Legal, Rapid Fire Is Illegal If A Head Ref Says It Is.
3) This Is Basic Tourney/rec Rules, But In A Scenario Game 99% Of The Time, Anything Within A Safe Speed Being Used By A Player That Knows What They Are Doing Is Legal.
4) Stop Fighting

Mabye alpha should get a vid up to prove he can shoot fast (Actually I just want to see alpha's mag again ). That would stop the bickering!

wanna realy piss t33 or whatever off. take that thirty dollar mag and go over to automags.org. do the homemade pneumatic trigger conversion for about fifty dollars they have there. oh my god a mech mag with an easily walkable trigger(no rapid fir no RT.) 200 dollars for a gun shooting as fast as a legal electro(your gonna need a few things to make it look feel good....could be done for aprox. a hundred)

If it were only that easy.
I was talking about normal RT Mags the whole time. They are CAPABLE of high speeds, but the best anyone can pull on it is around 10.
As for the pneumatic trigger. With full auto, ramping, that stuff becoming accepted now... mags still lose. The future is electric, join before its too late!

well sense rrfireblade is working on a way to add a few suprises you might wanna hang on to that pretty little imag(im going to refrain from saying anything about what he said to me, as im not shure how much he wants floating around generaly and it was a conversation through pms.
I have seen in person a guy get 14 on a mech mag. it was sound and chrono checked. Saw him do it and made the recording with my own eyes. they may not be that good but i still saw it

Do you have any idea how long people have said that? Look where it got them. High priced spyder knock offs that need every damn anti chop system out there to prevent them from chopping.. and you know what.. they don't always prevent those chops either! Anything based around electronics is bound to break more then something based on a mechanical system. Mechanical systems are extremely easy for people to fix because the problem is right there, and is visible.
Electronics, that's another story. The average baller isn't going to know what went wrong with his board if the marker stops working. Also the average baller doesn't like having his batteries die on him out on the field leaving his ass hanging out in the open. We've all experienced the dreaded hopper batteries dying on the field, leaving us playing civil war style trying to last in the game. Your trigger dies, you're ****ed, i dont care who you are. Unless you have a hybrid system, then you can take your electronics and shove them where the sun don't shine.
You need 20bps to play paintball, then you need some serious help. Shooting that fast turns you into a lazy baller, and causes way too much overshooting of other players. Not to mention all the little faggots that have their triggers set to a mouse fart which go off if they sneeze. I can tell you how many times i've been shot waiting for a game to start or trying to work out a deal during a scenario because someone's electronic trigger decided to fire randomly. It's not cool. Cause every scenario guy knows.. when one person fires.. everyone fires and they ask questions later.
Bottom line...
Electronics = more potential problems then Mechanical.
Mechanical > Electronics when it comes to reliability.

Umm.. i believe this pertains to the topic at hand, so this has every right to be in this thread. Sry to be a dick, but this is a forum, we're suppose to talk back and forth and state opinions.. as long as they stay within the rules of the forum.. which this thread most definitely does.
