Looking into Mags
So i've been looking into getting a mag for a while now, i dont know much about them but i know they look awesome and are very light and durable, but how would one perform compared to an e-cocker in tourney ball?, more specificaly my gun (the specs are in my sig) Could anyone tell me if it would be better to stay with my gun or try to get an upped mag, what would be some of the pro's/con's of going from a cocker to a mag? Also does anyone have decently upped mag they would be willing to trade or sell?

illd look into an emag. very durable, very easy to maintain. the pneumag is also fixing to come out. check out the devilmag the emag or the xmag. a mech mag will be nice, and i personaly think it would be about on par with the cocker(there are pros and cons to each-mainly cocker>speed, mag>durability, ease of maintanence etc.)
go over to automags.org and look around there. great place to learn

u can always get a mech mag then whenever you can send it to devilsden and get it hooked up with a devil frame or wait for the pneumag but other than that your cocker will be faster but the mag like said above will be more durable

You probably put $500 into your gun after hte initial purchase, correct? WEll with a mag, if you get one new then you dont need to really do anything. Paradigm.
www.themagsmith.com.
16bps easy (legal), 30+ illegal with more pressure. 15- ounce trigge pull (not too light, but not heavy either). Wont really give you any problems with chopping (you can stick your finger in teh chamber and fire away). Umm.. Theres like 5 parts to it. Valve, bolt, rail, frame, sear.

Thanks guys, i am mainly looking for an even trade, a pretty good mag, for a pretty good cocker, what does lvl 10 mean? also how exactly does the mag work? I'd like to stay mech since i have seen vids of someone walking a mech mag and it ripped, wasnt that the hair trigger or something like that? Alpha i have been searching for a Paradigm but i cant find it anywhere woudl you happen to have a link? Which would be faster if i got the pneumag or devil frame, the mag or my cocker still? I have been looking for hours for someone that would trade a mag for a cocker...no luck

A pneumag iwll be faster. A devilmag will be fast too.
The paradigm can only be found at www.themagsmith.com . Talk to RogueFactor on AIM. Tell him Alpha sent you.
Level 10 is a bolt that lets the air relief itsself, so its impossible to chop a ball. Once it encounters resistance the air flows around.
Mags work by this.. Air enters the back of the valve, where it is regulated. When it enters the valve part (this is where my knowledge is shady, I've never opened out up), it pushed a pin in the on/off down. At the end of this pin is a hole that 'connects a circut'. When the pin is pushed down, air is released. The pin is pushed down by the sear, which is on a pivot. IT pivots by the trigger, which pushes in pin in the back of the trigger.
better yet, just watch one of those mag animations...

e-cocker > mag.
If your planning to play in tourneys, dont get a mechanical mag. They simply cannot compete with higher end markers (like your e-cocker). I suggest you get a emag, they are worth around $500 used now so you wont have a hard time finding a trade.

The only option is a devilmag, which costs around $900, not worth it IMO.

yeah but that thing is going to be like $200 or more. If u don't like the big front grip of an e-mag and don't like how slow (yes i said it, don't give me ur 17bps blah blah blah rapid fire crap, the pull is heavier then a electro, so it's going to be slower) then mags aren't for u.
and t33k, hot hot HOT emag banner

well i play front so i dont really need a lot of speed i mean i need at least 10-12, but nothing crazy, does anyone have a vid of an emag shooting? I guess i dont mind the front grip so much anymore, it has grown on me.

Hi
get an E-Mag or a X-Mag. The nice thing is, you can have both a mech RT or an E-Mag. I dont think that the Devil mag is worth the money and i dont think that the Hair Trigger ever getting released....But you can look on AO`s Workshop Threads. A lot of Guys put Pneu/E Triggers in their Mags and they looking very nice. If you dont like the Battery Pack, the convert it.....You can find all that there....The Home of the Mag.
Thats a nice feature. Flip the switch to E-Mode and you have an very short (adjustable) E-Trigger. Flip it the other way and turn the Electronic off and you have a regular RT. Be in Mech mode and leaf the Electronic on, then you haveing a nice Hybrid mode......lol
I cant wait until i get a new X-Valve and get to shoot that......lol
You can find a lot more infornation on AO. I got mine, well just the lowers for around 350. All you need is put a Body on and a Valve. Thats it....
Dont forget you need a Highpressure Output for a Mag. Something with a fast regulator (like Corssfire). Be aware that a Mag need more Air then a Cocker. The Mag is a Gas Hog........
But go and get one......They Ripp.....
