Might be joining the family. COSTs?
Ok, a local friend wants to sell me his mag.
Its a silver body, with right feed
lvl 10
New trigger and sear
And there is some other stuff. Comes with old school AA (twist and lock) and a flatline with drop.
I'm sure there is other stuff that he didnt tell me.
What do you think this is worth?
Can I put a new body on it? Like a Karta? What about a new frame?
I'
ll tyr to get more info. He's prolly going to sell for about $200-$225

Well, I am nearly postive that you can put new bodies on like the karta. And I beleive you can also put new frames. But If you get a new body, it will be autococker threaded, so you wont be able to use your old barrel. But the lvl 10 is good, because it will prevent chops, ive heard as good as eyes will. I think it is a good deal, But i would wait for someone with more experience with mags than me give you some input.

200-225 is a steal. THe flatline alone is worth that if it is in good condition.
There are plenty of aftermarket bodies and parts, so you shouldn't worry about that. That is how I built my mag, I just kept replacing parts untill I have a whole new mag.

Same. Literally the only four things left on my mag originally are the rail, sear, field strip screw, and the other screw. And the rail and sear are going soon LOL

I plan on doing that. Can you put a new frame on an old mag w/o buying a new body?

Costs of upkeeping a mag? WEll.. IT will cost you thousands in the long run. Every time you mow muppets, they sue you for having too sick of a gun...
