Well I used a mag

Yesterday I was with alot of friends and we were showing our guns before the game. So a kid pulls out this mini mag and that was such a nice gun. I used it and it was quiet accurate and overall awesome. I also have a question, if you get one little bit of dust in the body reg will the gun break down. The kid will not take it all apart. So what should he do. Idk anything about mags.

Dust in the reg half of the gun? Well the reg is the back half and the valve is the front half of the whole valve.

They twist togethor, and I believe they are loctited in place, but you shouldnt need to take it apart to clean it. You could take the on/off out, and gas it up for a second and it should blow any "dust" right out. But it relaly isnt needed.

Just run water down the barrel, then gas it up and dryfire a bunch of times. Then oil it up well after its dried.

HiTAW,

joking about what??????

The Water down the Barrel????? or taking the ON/OFF out and air it up for a second ??????

You can dump your Aired up Marker in water and then still shoot it....lol

Thats a MAG.....

Yeah I run my marker in water all the time, just be sure that you clean out any of the pieces that can rust (I think anything that isnt aluminum is stainless steel anyways... Maybe the springs could rust (reg spring with rust is a bad idea). But just make sure it dries.

A lot of mag owners that are confident put their gun, gassed up, inside the dishwasher with no deturgent and cool water.

As far as taking out the on/off, that would cause you to just blow air down the line.. Or would it?

Here is a Mag valve stripped down to the bare nuts.

The joke is telling him not to strip it down if he has a problem. But if it is not broken then don't fix it.

To clean my Mags I take the two bolts out and wipe all the parts down with a damp cloth and then a dry cloth. I don't even open the valve unless there is a problem to start with. I reassemble the Mag and put 3-4 drops of oil in the asa and shoot it with out the barrel on. Done, Time.
