several mag q's

Ok, first off. Is the Chimera frame electronic? I know it looks like it, but it never says its electronic. SO it probably isnt.

If its not, what would be the best electronic frame for a Mag?

Im thinking about makign a mag similar to the devil mag, but need to know them to decide.

edit- i was thinking about getting the Pro customs or classic customs and getting a e-frame for it....

Chimera is a mech frame. The only e-frames for the mag are the AGD e-mag frames, the Hyperframe by Centerflag, and the Devil mag (which uses a preditor or morlock board I belive).

There are also some plans on AO on how to make a pnumatic frame, but you have to be pretty handy at milling and that kind of stuff..

My advice would be to buy some used e-mag lowers and slap that on your mag. All the solutions for an e-frame are $350-500 so don't jump into it if you don't have to.

The looks kind of suck, but a hyperframe might be the cheapest. Then you can pimp it out with custom triggers and panels from Luke on AO.

THe only problem with the hyperframe is that they are no longer manufactured or supported by centerflag. So you may be better off with a currently produced product.

There is a way to use a spyder e-frame (search on Spydermag on AO) but again, you need to be pretty good at milling or know someone who is.

ACtually spydermags are very easy to make. An e-spyder frame is just a sear tripper, and if you can hook up a mag sear to a spyder frame (and drill the holes for a mag rail), then it will work.

Ok. The spyder mag sounds like a good choice. I would have to get somebody else to do it tho, cuz i cant mill or drill or anything like that. Dont have the proper tools. Say alpha, could you fix a spyder frame? and if so, how much

Ive never done this before, but like I said its as easy as rigging up a mag sear to trip on a spyder frame. That adn a drill press..

I could probably do it. PM me if your moe interested.
