Update on Predator E-mag board from TAG
This is from Bob Sandifer at TAG regarding the drop in emag board. He has some really interesting features in store.
This is a done project as far as we are concerned. I jsut need to put up a preorder page. I will try to get it done today. As soon as we hit the 50 unit mark I will have boards ordered and they will be here in 3 weeks for programming. I am sorry I have to do it that way but with only 1200 or so of the guns built I have to make sure my run of boards will be sold. We are a small company...remember
I get about 5 emails per week asking for an emag board, an alias board, an imp board etc but it really comes down to "who will take the next step and buy it".
How about a lower price for preorder folks? Would that be fair?
For those of you that remember the extreme delays in our shocker products you should not worry. The reason we had such delays was the design change that took place in the middle of the run. With the emag Tom did all the hard work and he did not make us have to interface with another board. This is completely our design and 100% drop in.
Curt already has the eye logic completed for break beam and reflective so everything is all set on our end.......however, I do need to take another look at the xmag here. I have an idea for a simple break beam install
So here is the feature list so far so correct me if I missed something or included something that is not needed:
1. Direct drop in
2. 3 pin JST eye harness for break beam eye installs
3. Interface for top board for xmags
4. No LED screen ( we will use the same LED that is in the dm4 boards )
5. Top button on grip will be power
6. Bottom button on grip will be eye
7. Power pin can still be used for safety
8. 4 dips switches on board that are programmable (tournament lock etc)
9. "speaker" on board for extras? Still deciding on this one
10. "your input" here

I am assuming that this will have all of the other outstanding programing features and firing modes as the other Predator boards do.
I dont know about any of you, but my mouth is watering like a dog at a cook out
