On my barrel for my 68 classic I have a wire detent in it, its just a piece of wire which I assum ecame stock in it, is it going to last for a day of balling or is it gonna mess up a lot.

the wire nubbins were the original plan, but AGD figured out that plastic ones were easier on paint. So yea it should work ffin for a while, but get some plastic ones when you get the chance. try the airgun.com store, or see if rougfactor, or tunaman from automags.org have any.

i never used a wire one, but i don't think it would be that bad.
