Some simple questions to keep it going.
When was agd founded?
What was their first marker?
What's agd's slogan that is under the 2 lions in their logo?
And how tall is Tom Kaye on a cloudy day in March with no snow on the ground?

AGD's first mass produced marker was the Automag, but The first marker was the panther.

its already tourney legal, and is a great gun for any level of play.
i started with a classic myself and moved up to RT then E-mag, and should have a devilmag in the next week.
it will be about the fastest gun you can find, if your wanting mech. if you want electro, you might have to spend some money to get it going fast and light.

If you have some type of ULE body, then yes it takes autococker threads.

yes, just about every mag aprts is interchangeable, there may need to be some minor changes to get somethings to work, and there are also those that can't.
but for the most part, valves are interchangable.

Basicly, when you pull the trigger, you are rocking a sear that pushes a switch. We call the switch an on/off. When you push the switch, it connects a circut of air from teh back of the marker to the front. This air is released, pushign the bolt. At the same time the sear rocks, it also lets go of the bolt, so you get a simuteneous(sp) action.
So its like this:
Air pushes the bolt forward, and a spring pushes the bolt back to the resting position.

so... what's the need ofr a bolt then? why not just use the compressed air to push the ball out?

because the air would go anywhere it can. that means in your hopper, out the detents (ULE body) and anywhere else BUT the barrel.
and there is a gun that has no bolt... its called the EPIC
