Why are mags so damn expensive? $400 for a decent mag sure does drive me away. And don't say "quality" b/c everything else out there has quality also.
Well, I'm sorry, but it is quality. What you get isn't your normal run of the mill assembled in taiwan for $50 and sold for $300 marker.
RPG markers are all milled and annoed in the USA (to my knowledge).
First of all, mags don't suck. Why would you pay $1500 for a DM4? Speed? The mag valve can handle crazy insane speeds without dropoff. when I say without dropoff, I mean none at all.
You get a mechanical marker with the capability to shoot faster then a lot of electros. All it takes is a bit of modding.
$400 for a mag that might need $200 of tinkering to make just as fast as a Dye Matrix (without the firing modes and blinky lights of course) sitn unreasonable to me at all.
AGD is a dieing company. They need to make money. They dont sell many markers.
RPG is a small company. Rogue doesn't have the capacity to effeciently spit out 10,000 markers at a time with a few machines. his stuff is milled out from raw parts and annoed by his company.
Simply put, Rogue doesn't have an assembly line like other companies do.
Alpha i hope u didn't think i was dissing on mags. I love the thing, so unique. Heck today i saw a mag w/ lv X, karta body, 90* frame, and warpfeed, all red, looked very hot and someone mistook it for a angel (...) My biggest beef is they aren't that quick stock. I don't want to mod it out for the speed, i want it when i open the box. Perhaps i'm lazy (or maybe i don't have the skills to do it)
the assembly line sounds like a good reason for the price.

Why does it matter that much to you? I know you want mags to become more popular so that AGD and Rogue make money, but you already have a pneumatic trigger.
Oh, and the hAir trigger was a pneumatic trigger/frame that was being made by deadlywind, but they couldn't produce it because of patent issues, so now PTP is working on one.
The Hair was Deadly winds Pneumatic trigger frame that was going to sell for around 450 from what i remember. It was stoped production because of PTP haveing the patent for the pneumatic frame.
