Do you ever feel outgunned
When you go to your local field or play in a tournament, do you ever feel outgunned because you have a mag, and your going up against ramping electros that can shoot 20+ bps where as you can only shoot 6-9? (with the exception of people like alpha and fireblade who have really really fast mags, or anybody with ult and a decent trigger frame and trigger for that matter)
i really dont feel outgunned, but alot of people expect that i would. personally i think only having 7 bps at your fingertips improves your game, where as people who have 20+ may never learn some skills that people with a slight disadvantage would, such as good snapshooting, and learning when to move, and where to move. thinking about all of this kinda makes me want a pump, just so i can get better faster, and prepare for any upcoming tournies i might be getting into, so when i learn some stuff i can switch back to my regular gun and hopefully own.
opinions anybody?

I have a mag becuase i like the simplicity of it and it happens to be the gun i have from a while ago. i shoot fast enough and i dont play speedball so i tihnk im good. if you plan on going into speedball tournaments then BPS is most important.

i've been playing speedball with it for a while. bps doesn't matter hardly at all in the woods. infact alot of the woodsballers have tippys and such, so i actually feel like i have the advantage in the woods.

The only time I feel outgunned is when my freind puts his DM5 in ramp mode... Other than that, even with my 13bps hyperframe, I have no problem doing decent. 13bps Is more than enough IMHO.

Theres really no need to shoot over 13 BPS unless your playing back, I don't see front players bunkering people at 20 BPS :P

I play a pump whenever I have to play woodsball. Improves my snapshooting and overall game immensely. Plus its always fun to own with a pump.

Umm.. Only classic mags are limited to 6-9bps.
Retros can easily hit 15 legally.

I played this past Sunday... at one point every player at the place was crammed onto one field... it was like a chineese fire drill. One of my friends looked at me and said "lane?" so we both just stood back, when the game started and opened up. He was using one of the ref's brand new Egos (which is very impressive, btw). I was using my Warp fed Xmag. Im sure he wasnt ramping.. and I was shooting just as fast as he was. We both emptied our halos at just about the exact same time.
My brother also broke out his Classic RT for most of the day. He did well with it. He did prefer to use my Etac later on when the competition stiffened.
Feel outgunned? Not too often. I do get envious of all of those ramping guns though.. which should be remedied when my Predators arrive.

I use a phantom most of the time, and I don't feel outgunned. Now how does that make you feel?
When I use any mag, from emag to classic I never feel outgunned. 7 bps is plenty fast, and 13-14 with an emag is well, too fast in my opinion

i know. i said i dont feel outgunned. i dont feel the need to waste THAT much paint. but all my friends are like "dude yeah we have electros and you have a mech, we understand how you feel when we played speedball with our spyders."
thats in a way dissin my mag. i should whack them.
and alpha, how can i hit 15 legally without a ult? even fanning like crazy i can't hit 15. i would walk it but its sorta got a 3 pound pull.

Watch Zak Vetter's movie.
Like I said, some people have pudgy sausage fingers, some people have slender, muscular filangies (like myself).

unless you mean old old classic RTs, then the hyperframe will work with anything else (except sydarms).
