I'd really enjoy a modern day Mag vs Cocker battle (on the field, not flame engulfed forum type ....)

I really do like cockers though. MY pneumag quest has brought me to appreciate them.

I'm sorry, i belong the the AGD parts only club.. lol. Not enough money to spend on overpriced upgrades. My brother is a machinest, trust me, they're WAY overpriced.

If you mean overpriced as in what it costs to make to what people sell for- yes, its overpriced. So is literally everything. You really think it takes $300 for AGD to make an x-valve?
Rogue makes, ships, and maintains RPG all by himself. Things aren't mass produced like AGD parts are.

Brian:
Not quite true. Based on the volume produced, they are actually quite cheap. Ask your brother, or any CNC machinist, to do a 50 lot run including the programming charge, and youll see I am correct.
However, to illustrate that my stuff isnt any higher priced than AGD...
The ULE E-mag rail when offered was $85, unanodized, unpolished. RPG Rails(which are cut from AGD rails) are $80 polished and anodized. $5 cheaper, and already polished an anodized.
But, if your brother works cheap, PM me his phone number and I would be happy to send him a few samples and have him quote me his pricing. I am always looking for cheaper machinists so I can offer cheaper pricing.

The reason it's so cheap for him, is that he can do it off the clock, and he does both the programming and actual machine work himself. Typically the employers he works for does not care what material he uses, or gives it to him at cost. He has indeed looked over your products, and i am not knocking them at all, they are good, but you have to understand that him being in that line of work, he understands the cost of it all, and yea he does laugh since it wouldn't cost him nearly as much, more like a fraction of the cost.
Granted 90% of the paintball world has no access to anything of this nature, and since there really aren't any companies making mag parts, there's nothing to compare the pricing to. I am not, i repeat, i am not bashing your products in anyway. If anything i love the fact that Maggers have the options that you've given us. I'm simply stating the humor in it given the situation that I myself am in.
Keep up the good work
- Brian

so can we see some of your brother's work, you have to prove the credibility of your source to make a valid argument
edit : i think the demand for aftermarket mag parts is such a super small niche that it forces prices it up itself, and you need more than a tiny profit margin to keep producing parts and maintaining sufficient backstock.

Hey, i said he was a machinest and knows what it takes. I never said he made paintball parts for Mags. He has however made a gatling gun, but the was has been put off on it since he's working in a different location now. He's also made light sabers back in the day, sold them for $300 a pop. His work is really good. So don't try to put me on the spot, or him, for he will put you to shame.

oh no, i just meant any work. The lightsabers sound cool, I didn't mean to put you on the spot in a negative manner either. my dad had his own machine shop for 38 years, i spent all my weekends and summers in that shop mostly. I wonder how many pounds of metal shavings I inhaled.....haha
