The leak sounds like a level X problem.. tune your carrieres.

As for the shooting itself, look to the on/off and see if it needs lubing. Sometimes they stick. Otherwise you may have too many shims in teh ULT that is making the trigger too reactive.

Or... you have a bad trigger switch. Try shooting it in manual mode and see if the problem still occurs. If not, then the problem is in the electronics.

There also may be some tolerance issues between the ULE body and that particular e-mag lowers.

PM Tunaman on AO -- he seems to be the best at e-mag stuff.

Those would be my thoughts.

Leak= Level 10
Rapid Fire= Could be one of many things. But, to start...

The stock on/off pin for an E-mag is .712 as I recall. You arent supposed to us an ULT with E-mag lowers.

There are quite a few specs for E-mags that it can be one things, or a combination. Which makes it hard to tech over the internet, or even the phone.

Good luck.

Slap it on mech mode, and hold down the trigger, see if it stops. That will rule in/out a LX problem.

Definetly a ULT problem. Seeing as they aren't supposed to have them...
But as Rogue said, could be more things.

This isnt a ULT problem however, when you pull the trigger adn the leak stops, your shutting the on/off off. If the leak persisted, it would be something wrong in the on/off.

I do suggest getting rid of the ULT in favor of a stock on/off, but tune your level 10.

Your carrier is too big, or you have too many shims in the powertube.

Check the powertube and see how many shims are in it. If there are, remove them one at a time and see if that works. If you get to the point where you've removed all the shims but it still leaks, change to a smaller carrier.

Once you find a carrier that will not leak, add one shim at a time to the powertube until it starts leaking, then remove the last shim. You should have a properly tune LX (assuming your o-ring is broken in and I'm not missing anything).

Its called bolt stick, add a shim, try it, if not, add another.

If not, go for a larger carrier and no shims.

well, your really not "tuning" the carrier. all the carrier is is just a small piece of metal in the powertube that carries an oring. by changing the carrier size (tuning, which you have to do) forces the oring to be a little smaller or a little bigger depending on the size of the carrier (you can't tell the difference by looking). If you have too small a carrier in (which you might), the bolt cannot move freely enough, which is why it is getting stuck. if you move up a carrier size, but it starts leaking constantly down the barrel, then you need to oil your lvlx some, using good lube like trouble free. if you move up a size without it leaking but the problem still persists, well lube it up, or you could try adjusting the amount of shims in your powertube.
