I am curious about 2 things, one, if the X-Mag is such a great gun then why did they stop making it? and 2 why dont I ever see mags anywhere, if they are such great guns why doesnt anyone shoot mags?
note: don't flame me i am not putting down mags, i love the guns these are just two things i have always wondered about, i never bought a mag cuz around here there is no place to get them and no place to get parts and upgrades for em. but i still drool over them especially that lvlX bolt

when people hear "mag" they automatically think 68 classic type mags, with powerfeed and all stainless construction. over 5 pounds, lopsided, slow, and ugly. those are old as hell though, but that is about all people know about them. thats how i thought all mags were too, for awhile. now its just rediculous, you can get an unbelievably great gun for under $600. throw on some parts to make it pneumatic, and youve got a gun that can keep up in looks, performance, and speed with almost everything else out there for under $700. add a karta body and rail with DW carbon fiber foregrip and wisper barrel, and you have the sexiest thing ever produced artificially on earth.

since no one answered xmags were stop being made because agd was sued by smart parts
if im wrong correct me
AGD it self has some close ties with SP, so 1% chance they would go after Tom. The x-mags were bassically trouble. the breeches were anno nightmare, the oreders were on back order, and for what they were technological wise, they were e-mags with more work. so AGD made the last orders, then sold some, then slowly worked off the e-mags. they "might" have something new in R&D, but with tom gone, they can do what they want. meaning they can kill off the "mag" name, and work on to something new, or continue selling off stock.
I'm gonna miss Tom... I played with him at D-Day 2004 (or 2005, i don't remember which) but i hung out with him a bit and talked with clare benavides. (my cousin works for the Bunker that puts on D-Day, in case youre wondering how i got to talk to 'em) But Tom was cool as hell, plus he is a freakin' genius. He will be missed...
