I've shot that gun. Doesn't his trigger blow? I did a sick nasty trigger job for him (but his eyes were dirty), and he thought my mod screwed up his eyes.. All I did was use a piece of paper towel for a spacer and only used one magnet.

He got that merker for $200. Lucky bastard.

$200? I shouldnt send it back.

Yeah, I told him I would take care of the trigger but he wanted to do it himself. Seemed overy-anxious for me not to mess with it. I guess thats why. I can get 16bps on the PRT-T counter on my gun, and only 8 on that one.

Also, his solenoid plunger was screwed up. Someone turned it all the way to make it as short as it could go, making it WAY out of spec. When I gassed the gun up I thought that I screwed something up because it wouldnt fire on E at all. (Until I figured it out)

Slowly but surely the Beta guys are running into a bunch of newfound quirks. Input pressure is key. My Centerflag screw in only puts out 750psi, while my Nitro duck 850. I can get 20bps easy with the Nitroduck. THe trade off is you cant go deep into the tank on 20. Setting the ROF to 15 -17 lets you go down to about 650-700 with no problems.

SO when you sending yours Alpha?

I'm sending it to tuna to get my new on/off (I've been running a ULT, and when I switch to my E-mag .712, well... Lets just say it involves complete cycles in excess of 20bps, and will not stop unless you manually stop the cycle. I have to stick something (soft, like my finger) in the chamber to get it to stop, and still them, if I pull it out it just starts up with its crazy runaway.

I dont know...

So probably a couple weeks? I'll let ya know, and as always, I appreciate it (secret buttsecks for you)

ahhh you have the Full-Auto issue. COuld be the noid wires need to be swapped, or your trigger rod is bouncing off of the trigger when you shoot. Either way, Tuna will take good care of you. He's the best.

(butt-secks should always be secret)

Who said anythign about buttsecks? wtf?

I assume its a problem with the On/off since it works just abotu perfectly fine with my ULT...

Finally something to make e-mags fast and won't get screwed up.

yeah, but its starting to look like this wont be a simple 'drop-in' and go mod. Guns that may be worn or out of spec (that work ok with the AGD software) will need to be overhauled and tuned to work at the higher ROF.

I thought most of the problems were in the 20+bps range... So why would you need to push the noid any faster?

SO far I can use it reliably up to 20bps. THere are some people who can go up to 23, but Im not sure of the specifics of their set-ups. I suspect the input is over 900psi.

HA

I just found out that my Centerflag screw-in is only putting out 750 psi. No wonder why I cant hit that 23bps. Now all I need is some air and I can give my NitroDuck a shot. I just got it back from hydro.

BTW, someone did a sound analys on that clip. He confirmed 20 bps.
