Just thought I might start a thread for people with Lvl 10 problems, that they are not sure about

For example

My problem is while my Lvl 10 works pretty well ,and is tuned quite well, I get the occasional shot (like on in fifty, which according to my reading is too much) where the ball is obliterated, like I mean shards out the end of the barrel and a little cloud of paint spray.

I am currently using the shortest spring for about 280fps, should I switch to the next size up?

I'd definitely do that then lower your regulator. I am not familiar with LVL 10s but generalization is softer spring causes higher pressures which will make it harder on the ball.

Could be several things.
1) Check your paint to barrel match
2) Old paint
3) Hopper too slow when rapid firing
4) Chrono the marker, may be shooting too hot
5) Drop some oil in the asa and run it through

I know that my match was a little off with the stock barrel and the field paint (.691 vs .689), but other than that, don't really rapid fire, and I use a qloader, so shouldn't be a problem

Marker is right at 280 and is pretty well oiled.

How brittle is the paint? If it's fairly brittle, I'll bet you the Qloader is the culprit.

the paint is not too brittle, PMI premiums

I have turned my qloader down to the minimum recommended winds.

I might throw my ricochet on and see if I have the same problem

grind monsters at the most 2 levels above you, see if someone can run you through DM to get the loot, and quest quest quest. they'll get you the most exp/hour of anything you can do right now.


as for a relevant post: definitely check your barrel. even if it is a small inconsistancy, it can screw up your paint big time. see if you can drop the psi a bit, and make sure you aren't chopping paint (shooting too fast for you hopper to keep up). Just out of curiosity, what kind of hopper are you using?
