This might be a stupid question but im curious. What makes a mag a mag? I mean what exactly makes a mag different from other guns? Can someone please tell me, i really want to know. thanks.

Well, for starters, Automags are blow forwards. Gas pushes the bolt forward and a spring returns the bolt to a resting position. Unlike blowbacks where the spring provides the power for the bolts movement and excess gas pushes the bolt back into place. That is the basic difference between mags and other markers.

They have a very interesting feel to them. It’s hard to describe really. Some people love the feel of a mag; others despise it and hate it. It’s all personal preference really. I’ve shot a good many cockers in my time and I hate the feel of them. Mags are just so much more comfortable, IMO.

Level 10 doesn’t hurt either

Simple. so so so simple. Take cockers, all of that crap in the front to make the bolt go back and forth... i dont even know what it does... but the whole purpose of a paintball marker is to push a ball out of a barrel. and mags do that the most simple and best way....
