My friend has a LP mag...
Well, actually its a friends friend, but we are cool. Anyways, my neighbor told me that the reason why his gun had been screwing up all the time is because its a low pressur emag, adn he'd been running HPA through it.
Are all mags LP or what?

i always though all mags were high pressure, and need like high operating pressure so they vavle wont starve for air, and thats why you will never see a regulator on a mag, unless its like a max flo and the crank it up so the rt will be bouncy

With a polished bolt and such, yeah a mag can shoot at 500psi or so, but you wont get the same reactivity. Why someone would want their mag to be LP, i dont know...

it CANT work. the operating system doesnt allow for it.
LOW pressure going through the marker wouldnt be able to push forward the bolt, due to the spring. if you did turn it into a LP marker, youd get this CRAZY blowback, and youd get around 600 shots per 65/45. NOT fun. youre friend is a liar

I take it no one herd of a Smartmag by Smart Parts. They made the Automags air chamber larger to lower the operating pressure. Because LP guns are better, right!?! So what was the results? It made the Mag use more air. hmm interesting

I told him I did some research and his responce was
"No, it wasnt a high pressure tank, it was a high high pressure tank" and he was serious about it. I just changed the subject before his brain fried.
Well, I did say somethign like "The highest pressure your going to shoot with compressed air is around 850 PSI unless you customize the reg to output more...
