Rt...

Is that like the RT on a tippmann where you pull and release the trigger and it shoots twice? I hate those... The way I see it, cut that in half and thats how fast you can shoot. So... explain?

No. RT stands for reactive trigger for mags, not response trigger like for tippmanns. The mags RT valve shoots back the trigger after each shot, it is tourney leagal if you don't put a lot of input pressure in your mag so you can sweet spot it.

That's not how the RT trigger in a Tippmann works. The Tippmann 'E' (electronic) frame does have a 'response' setting that allows it to fire on the pull and release, but the normal Tippmann RT trigger only applies 'kick' to the trigger allowing you to sweetspot the trigger for an action that simulates full auto.

And yes, the RT Valve in a Mag has a very similar effect as the Tippmann RT, only with much less 'RT' effect and is therefore more difficult to sweetspot the full auto effect. An adjustable air tank that allows you to increase the input pressure to a RT mag valve will increase the RT effect and make it much easier to get that full auto effect.

so RT on a mag uses the rt valve to push the trigger back?
but wut would that do ? by shooting back the trigger would that mean like 2 shots per trigger pull ?

and an r/t on tippys fire with pull and release of the trigger .... cuz thats wut ive been thinking ...... im so confused

On a mag it doesn't not shoot twice on one pull. When the valve recharges it pushes the on/off pin back out, thus pushing the sear tripper out, and the trigger back into position. Thus having more input pressure in your mag makes it recharge harder, so thus making the trigger come back harder making it possible to sweet spot.

A tippmanns RT uses some devices to get the excess air and use it to push the trigger back out, but a tippmanns R/T does it very hard so you can sweet spot a tippmanns R/T very easy. (sweet spotting is where you put enough pressure on the trigger that it fires the gun, then when the trigger pushes back out your finger will push it back in again, and it repeats, creating a full auto effect.) The RT mode on the e-grip for a-5's or the e-bolt for m98 customs fires on the pull and the release of the trigger.
