Best way to degas my Emag....

Okay, I have a 68/3k flatline (adj. tank) and everytime i degas it, its a pain the A. I TRY to pull the macroline off, but i pull with all my might with no sucess , and thats the only way. I usually have to take off the valve to get all the excess gas out... and tahts scary.

So is there any kind of on/off for the macro that'll bleed all the gas out of the gun with ease.....

you could just turn off the eyes and shoot the excess gas out

yes... turn off the eyes... and shoot the air out... This is the AGD forum did you forget?

1) Emags dont have eyes
2) There is to little pressure in the valve for me so shoot the rest of the air out.

yes, this is the AGD forum, and im guessing tipppimp was thinking of an xmag, which has eyes, anyways go and lay down a little cash for an on/off with a bleed hole, my uni has one and it works fine.

I have a flatline. If i used a screw on tank, i wouldnt be asking such a stupid question. Taking off the macroline is impossible, me and my friend tried at the same time and nothing... Theres gotta be a easier way.

ahh that info would have helped earlier. turn off the tank, shoot air out. its quite simple. And btw, no offense but trying to yank out the macroline with ur marker gassed up is downright retarded.

invest in a quick disconnect. Everyone at my local field with a mag has a quick disconnect, it also makes it easier to take the valve out to tune and oil. Otherwise, put it to mechanical mode, hold the trigger down while you take out the field strip screw. It will surly degass that way, i almost lost my on/off though.

What about the slide check stuff, that'll just bleed all the air in the macro, right?

You guys need to read the question in order to help.

Flatline=Direct air line to valve.

MacroLine= No way to add inline air switching (slide chk/QD).

Emag+L10= Unable to shoot out excess air< ~ 400psi.

Easiest way is to switch over to SS line, you can then add a slide check or Pro-Connect inline or a quick disconnect at the valve. You can pop a QD at 400psi without a problem.

why is it not possible to add a qd to a macroline hose with the fitting. I mean, I already have it set-up that way. get a 90* fitting, put it on the valve, put the male part there, and screw the female part into the fitting at the end of the macro.

Yes,you could put one between the fitting itself and the gun.It just starts to get bulky like that with fitting into fitting into gun or however.

Mainly I was suggesting that you switch from Macro because it's not rated to operate at typical paintball pressures and will have a limited lifespan.Expect a fair share of wear induced leaks at the fittings and after enough time in the sun (UV), increased potential for bursting.

Other that that,it's just fine.

I have a emag, flatline & macroline combo too. Most times there is 200 or less psi in the tank and I can pull the macro out but other times I have to unscrew the bolt u use to adjust the pressure in the flatline tank until all the air leaks out. Not sure how safe this is though.
