Tourney's with mags

Has anybody used a Mag for a tournament before? I'm going to buy one and I want to make sure that my RT ULE will work. Because my team is going into many tourney's and I need to be ready to know if this marker is tournament legal. (Without special ups on it) Just it in general, please tell. Thanks for your cooperation.

In totally stock form it is generally considered legal.

Now......

It does 'technically' have a reactive trigger and there are some Tournys that don't allow that regardless of whether or not it bounces.(Mags won't bounce in stock form)

So it's possible that you may run into that.

as of right now, more and more tourneys are allowing mags. They are completely mech, no electronics involved and the electronic frames are not functioned by using reactivity like mags are.

I think they are legal as long as you do not "sweetspot" it or anything.

I added a legality section in the sticky for anyone who wants a 'full' explanation.

what about an emag since it has all the internals of an RT(unless i miss read the sticky) and you can just switch between RT and E

i use my emag for a tournament. Yes, if you really try you can get some pretty cool bounce going on. If you try to do it then it's not legal, so just leave it alone, their already pretty fast.
