Generally most mags need HPA. If you have teh calssic valve or older, they can run on anti-siphoned Co2. RT, RT Pro, X valve, and Emags all MUST be run of HPA or you will wreck the internals.

if ur positive that it has a classic valve (it says classic on it), then it isnt an rt, its a classic. if it is a classic then c02 will "work". Nitro of course is always better but if you only have co2 then it will be fine. Just make sure what valve you have. if it says classic then its a classic, not an rt. If it says rt, rtx, retro, x, emag, xmag, then you need to use nitro. just be sure

so you have two valves? if you use the classic you can use co2, and shoot slower and less consistantly, use rt and u need nitro, and shoot faster and more consistantly. rt + nitro = best choice

using co2 with the classic will still freeze it up. if u can remote it or run it vertical then youll be ok.

dont say it WILL freeze it up because it wont, only if liquid co2 gets into the gun. a remote will help or an x-chamber. Running it vertical with help as well as long as you dont tilt the gun, which alot of ppl do. anti-siphon is another option.

shoot 50 shots on a tank at 5bps and it will freeze. shoot slowly(unrealistically) and it wont freeze.
in a realistic situation, it will freeze on a normal co2 bottle

dang $35 to fill a scuba tank?! I have a 3500psi scuba tank and they charge me $5 to fill it up and it lasts me at least 2-3 times of playing. sounds like your getting ripped if your paying $35 to fill your scuba tank.

Do you mean you have a HPA tank? Cause they cost about $3-$5 to fill. It's a big difference from a SCUBA tank.

I have both. I have a 68 cu" Centerflag 4500psi on my autococker and an Air America Appocalypse 72 cu" 4500psi for my timmy. I use a steel scuba tank thats rated at 3500 psi for air fills. I get the scuba tank filled up at a scuba shop for $5 and it lasts me 2-3 days of paintball. Its better than paying $20 bucks at the field for all day compressed air fills.

Well, they were designed for CO2. The cvx valve was made to handle liquid better then any other valve out there. Though it's cheap as anything
