only classic/sydarm valves
Q: What do I need to run a Mag on co2 (cause hpa/nitro is not readily available in my area, etc)
A: Either an anti-syphon bottle, a remote setup or a vertical bottle adapter. DO NOT use a anti-syphon tank and remote together. It makes a syphon remote whice is bad for most markers, including Mags.
The cheapest in a vertical bottle adapter. It comes standard on Minimags. It works best when the weather is warm and you are using a larger tank because it is harder to chill.
The 2nd best way is to use an anti-syphon tank mounted in a horizontial duckbill adpater or drop forward/cradle system.
The most expensive but best perfomance comes from using a remote hose from the tank to an expansion chamber mounted on the marker. The ACI Sub-Zero expansion chambers perform very well
anyway- i have a cheap n2 tank if you wanan buy one, just pm me.

Nice to know I can use co2 on it. So if I got an anti-siphon tube installed, I could use it? Running low on cash, so no thanks on the nitro.

you can't fire that fast with co2, and 90% of the time it won't work in 50*f or lower temp.

co2 has nothing to do with how fast you shoot

congradulations, now sit down a learn something-
running co2 with a mag will limit your speed, bacause the co2 will turn to liqud as the valve heats up, so the valve will freeze up. and you have to wait while it warms up. and this wears down o-rings WAY faster.

Its called shootdown. If your trying to force the gun to cycle too much, and your feeding liquid Co2 into the valve, you're most likely going to chuff.

i don't think it would be qualified as shootdown, because it is able to fire much faster, but it freezes up and doesn't shoot, instead of droping velocity.

Sounds like I'm gonna have to get nitro, how much are you asking for it AGD_Kid, and is it a steel tank?

um no. had the mag for seven years. never rebuilt it, rarely oil it. ive never run antisyphon on it. only run hpa on rare occasions(when i can get it) if youll run a loop goin up above the feed system it will run just fine with no antisyphon.

i had a friend test that, it seemed to work on some occasions, but once you slap a new parts kit in and atlest run anti-syphon you can tell the new life in the old girl.
they were ment to run for yeas, i saw a 10 year old on a few weeks ago, it ran with romote for most of the years, the switched to just anti-syphon and a drop. i rebuilt the valve with new orings, cleaned, everything(and a few of my own tricks that seem to help). the owner came by the next day, and was very pleased to say the least. he said the mag never ran as well before i got my hands on it.
