will this work

i was thinking about running my own co2 i have the tanks that they use in the shops but i use it in an automotive shop the only thing is that i use a co2 75% and argon 25% mix for better welding so will this work thanks for all replys.

I would answer your question if I could follow your thought. Punctuation = comprehension.

If you are asking if you can use a mixed gas cylinder for filling pball tanks. I would have to check the vapor pressures or argon to see what if anything might happen. On first glance, I would think that you would want to run pure Co2 as this is what the markers were designed to run. Provided the argon has a similar vapor pressure, it should work.

Hmmm.. I am not finding the info I want - so far Argon seems to have a vapor pressure of 3 psi at 75F. If that is the case, go pure CO2 as the argon will just sit there and take up space.
