Anti-Siphon Tube Mark?

I was at the field today, and long story short I switched 12 Oz's with someone else.

Now that I'm back here cleaning everything, I see a white line painted on the neck of the tank and the valve. I was thinking it's anti-siphoned, and that is the position marking.

Am I right or is it something else?

It could very well be. It could be just an indicator to show where the tank meets the valve, so that if the lines ever get separated, the person knows that the valve is coming loose from the tank. I know that when the big story of a kid killing someone with his tank happened two years back, I put a mark on my tank too, and that wasnt a/s

when my tank got anti-siphoned they did put a white dotted line down it. The white line is supposed to be vertical once the tank is screwed on, otherwise the anti-siphon line doenss't do what's its supposed to do.
