ACI 4-stage expansion chamber

Is this a good choice?

What kind of hardware will I need to install it? (i.e. hoses, fittings, etc.)

Well, telling us your setup would help some. Im assuming you own a tippman 98c, and im not a tippman guy, so I dont know what youd need to get the expansion chamber running. Someone will come along and help out with that though.

As well as performance goes, I had one for my old rebel, and in the colder weather, it cut down on c02 freezing, resulting in my gun shooting less snow and getting better consistancy. Id say it was worth the 25$.

I hear these are really good x-chambers, and I plan on getting the 6 stage soon myself. Seems to me the bigger the better (to a point) so the CO2 has lots of room and time to expand into gas.

I have an A-5, so it already has a built-in vertical adapter. I guess all I need are hoses, right?

The 6 stage one is a little bigger than what I want. I'm still considering though.

Yes, you can use a steel braided hose to go from the air source adapter to the xchamber,

or you could use macroline with fittings

I don't know - I can't see the 4 stage performing quite as well as the 6 stage. Maybe its overkill tho?

Well the 4 stage would have less area for the CO2 to absorb heat from, so if it were really cold out or you were firing fast it might not work as well as the 6.

This is the inside of the 6 stage.

My guess is the 4 stage would just have one less chamber inside it so it can be shorter.

Well, it doesn't really get all that cold here in central Utah, and if it is really cold (like below freezing) we wont go.
