Pressure

I might get an ion, and tell me, it says i need 180 output pressure, do tanks have out put prerssure or does the reg do this...

There are preset low pressure tanks, then you can have an inline reg that brings that pressure down further to your desired pressure

That 180psi. is really the operating pressure that the Ion functions at.

And ya, there are preset tanks that can have an output pressure (basically the amount of pressure that comes out of the tank) of either 400psi. (low pressure) or about 800psi. (high pressure). The Ion can most likely run on both presets, but just to be safe, the HP preset is recommended. Like he said, the regulator on the Ion takes the pressure from the tank and lowers it down to the operating pressure of the gun (180psi.).
