22 oz tank questions... o_O
ok just for kicks i bought a brass eagle silver raptor and 22 oz tank for 15 bucks
the 22 oz tank is rather small, actually its closer to my 9 oz tank then my 20. its engraved that its 22 oz (along with a lot of other numbers which i dont knwo the meanings for) and it says its an aluminum 22 oz high pressure co2 cylinder on the label. soooo is this safe to be using on my gun? cuz im assuming 22 oz cramped into that small of a tank would give out a lot of pressure and i dont want to screw it into my marker and have it do damage.
any knowledge on the subject?

If it's a legit 22ounce tank, then it has thinner walls. What's the date on it?

i think its legit
i was able to find the website and it has tanks made for paintball. i dont know the rules for linking other sites so ill just copy and paste.
The Luxfer Advantage
Lightest weight cylinders available: composite cylinders are up to 70% lighter than steel, and aluminum cylinders are up to 40% lighter than steel.
Wide range of sizes––capacities from 18 to 110 cubic inches.
Composites have aluminum liners with ultra-thin walls reinforced with carbon or fiberglass embedded in an epoxy resin overwrap.
Aluminum cylinders are made from proprietary 6061 alloy, an aluminum-magnesium-silicon blend.
Manufactured to all recognized international standards.
Corrosion-resistant interior and exterior––ideal for wet gases.
so i guess it could be true then right?
editness: didnt want to repost, but someone whos certified to fill tanks would be able to tell this was a 22oz tank right? cuz it certainly doesnt look like the normal size for one, and im not 100% sure so i dont want to tell them its a 22oz tank if its not and have it blow up or something

The burst disk would break and vent the tank before it blew up. If it's not old enough to be out of its hydro date and is in good shape, go for it.

is this a hpa tank? B/c they are usually measured in cubic inches, and the thing u posted said cubic inches. So 22cu is close to 9oz i'm guess.

I have never seen a 22oz tank.
MORE LIKELY, its a 12oz tank, and just looks like a "22".
I've only seen 3.5, 4, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 20, 24, 30, 32 and 40oz tanks.
It could also be cubic inches. 22ci is about 7oz of co2.
The issue is size. 22oz of CO2 tanks up about 22oz OF WEIGHT AND VOLUME. You simply CAN NOT squeeze it into a smaller container. If its a smaller container, then it holds less.
However... any reputable field that fills you will know exactly what it is, so don't worry. Plus, as mentioned above, the WORST CASE is that its overfilled, and blows the safety valve (a $5 part).

he is more then likely right in fact he is right also that other guy that said the burst disk would blow is right too overfilling a 9 oz by like one or two onces will make the burst disk blow...and for a little piece of brass its pretty expensive...3 bucks but i mean jeez lol

I see.
The tank is 22oz EMPTY and 34oz FULL, meaning it holds 12 oz.
Its probobly a catalina tank. Those tanks tend to work backwards, and tell you the "tare" weight.
So, its a 12oz.
Its also out of hydro!

I don't think your shop would test it for you. Most likely you'd have to send it out to a company that tests and stamps tanks.
For about $20 + shipping for a test, I would look at a new tank instead.
