Detonator/Sidewinder/CP

I'm looking for opinions. I have a Ion, and I would like to get a new reg. I was originally going to get a AKA Sidewinder, however as good as everyone says it is, IMO, it doesn't look that good. So I was looking into Detonator/CP regs, which are cheaper, and look a lot better (IMO), however I would rather spend the money if it is worth it and get the Sidewinder and deal with the looks. Also, if anyone knows the input specs on them, I know some are senstive to higher output tanks, and I borrow a high pressure output tank from the arena I go to until I can get my own (Waiting for a bday to pass before I shell out the money lol) I do not plan to go to tournament, I however do wish to get relatively competetive, and I play every weekend, usually all day for 2 days. If any one has an opinion I would love to hear it, thanks!

There is a video somewhere that has the CP, SW, and the 2-Liter on a Viking going rapid fire. And a gauge in the back of the marker to show the reg's dropoff.

The 2-Liter dropped 8psi., SW dropped like 10psi., and CP dropped 15psi.

The Detonator is said to be just as good, if not better than the SW. I'm probably going to be getting a SW for my Imp, if not, then a CP.

Sidewinders are really comfy and are just about the best regs made. That still look decent...
