regulator x-chamber combo?

Just wondering if adding a regulator to my current set up is possible. I have a 98c, with the tippmann x-chamber:

Is there a regulator I can buy that will still accomodate my expansion chamber? It was a gift, and I'd like to keep it on if possible. If not, I'll just take it out.

I know that the regulator should come after the x-chamber.

Low-end markers like yours do not need to be regulated, so having a regulator on your tank would really be a waste of money unless you were planning to switch it to your next marker. All they do is control the air going into your gun and keep it at an even pressure so that the velocity is more consistent which means possibley better accuracy but I'd say it's not worth it to have on a tippy.

remember that hpa and xchambers dont mix too well. if you want a good reg that will handle co2 fairly well id recommend the palmers stabalizer.

Expansions are normally harmless to HPA. If you were running a really low pressure tank I suppose it's possible to starve the valve a little because of the passages in the chamber, but even then I don't think there would be any bad effects.

It could probably be gutted and made a true gas-through grip.

thx for all the replies

Good to know that I can leave that xcham on the gun still, I'm afraid I would screw up the valve if I mucked around with it too much..
