Expansion chambers and HPA?

Hey

I have an older Spyder Xtra, and I'm looking into getting a bigger tank. I have a 9oz CO2 right now, but I'm thinking about getting a 68ci@4500psi HPA tank or a 20oz CO2 tank. The gun has a small expansion chamber in the foregrip, and I remember reading somewhere that expansion chambers don't let HPA systems flow as smooth. Has anyone ever heard of this? Any help is appreciated!

I have an expansion chamber and run HPA fine. Its just going to act as a gas-thru grip.
