nitrogen reg?
ok, i bought a nitrogen tank for like 15 dollars, its a 68/4500 tank but theres no reg. On ebay if you type in nitro theres like 50 of these tanks that are 47ci/3000 tanks that have regs. could i just take that off and put it on my tank?

Depends on what your tank is rated too.
Maybe your tank is rated to 4,500psi. So, you should get a 4,500psi. rated regulator, HP preset of course. The size of your tank doesn't matter I believe. And I'd get an air smith to install it.

I'm confused did you buy it new? or used or what? maybe it wasn't supposed to come with one and you have to buy one.

oh wait I see, yea it didn't come with a reg you have to find a reg for your tank, noone you cannot take one off another different psi tank and put it on yours. at least I dont think. It was to be the same size.

hehe, this recalls a post by HP_lovecraft. There are 2 main kinds of nitrogen tank regs, the 3000 threaded version, and the 4500 threaded version. See, tanks have a unique threading that corrospondes to their specific regulator to ensure a 3000 reg can't be put on a 4500 tank, that would equal disaster. I know of at least 1 site that sells regs ($87 for a dynaflow 420 by centerflag; ironically the exact reg i have on my tank)
