Question How to replace the fill nipple?

Hi, I just a bought a Pure Energy 88ci 4500psi tank. I filled it once and use it once. When I went to fill the nitro tank they had problems with the fill nipple, it wouldn't fill, in other words the nitro wouldn't go thru the nipple so the spring thing would move back. I'm sure its the fill nipple causing the problem, so I would like to replace myself. Do I need to take the whole top part off or just the fill nipple? If just a nipple then no problem, but if i need to remove the whole thing. If so, how do i it? Is there a web site with pics showing step by step? Does anyone else had this problem with Pure Energy nitro tanks? Enough questions? sorry....

i would highly recomend not doing it yourself and having a qualified airsmith do it. i THINK you just have to unscrew the nipple and screw in the new one but im not sure about that

Has to be completly empty, the nipple will come off and the new one would go on with some thread sealent on there.

Still, I'd talk the shop into doing it. Even if it is just because I could pin it on them if anything goes wrong.
