N2
I was wondering is N2 worth the amount of money you have to spend on it or should i just stick with nice cheap CO2?

A hpa tank is always a nice upgrade, but it also depends on what marker you are using and if you are planning on buying a higher-end marker.

N2 is Nitrogen, sometimes known as compressed air. It runs VERY expensive, the cheapest I've seen (non-used) was around $200. If you have a high-end marker then you should get N2, but don't use it for cheaper guns.

The tank's are very expensive, cheapest I have ever seen was 40 bucks (new) for a 47/3000 steel tank. So pretty much the worst you can get. Most good tanks will run between $180-$250. Most places charge $1 for every 1000psi to fill, but some fields just charge a certain amount for all day air.
Getting a compressed air tank is well worth it in my opinion. Co2 will ruin seals and just reak havoc on your gun in the long run (especially if it's a mid to high-end gun). N2 is much more efficient than co2 and is just better for the gun. If you have the money to dish out for a nitro tank and plan on playing paintball a while, I really think you should get a compressed air tank (68/4500 carbon fiber wrapped is what I would suggest)

WRONG! wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong!(ok well, ur partly right)
n2 is nitrogen, but no one uses it.. everyone just uses compressed breathing air. the cheapest new tank is 50 bucks from ebay, and you HAVE to get hpa(high pressured air) for high end guns, and why not use it for cheap guns?

Compressed air is good especially if you get it early, because nowadays everyone that competes in tourneyball, uses compressed air (N2) its alot cleaner for you gun. And your gun doesn't freeze to your hands. My perfect tank is a 45/4500 crossfire tank.

Not that much. Ur gun is designed to run on co2. At most u might have a o-ring or 2 go bad.
HPA is worth it if u play enough, and really want a higher end gun. Or if u care about consistancy and not having drop-off from a co2 tank.
Nothing wrong w/ running HPA on a silver bullet. Hell i use a halo and HPA tank on my old electra
