Looking at an HPA tank but....
Im a college student and the idea of putting out 200+ dollars for a tank is hard to get over. One of the fields that I play at rents 47ci tanks and I normaly take them up on that offer. I want to get an HPA tank but only a steel 3000 is in my budget and depending on how I shoot each game I am refilling it all the time (free air). So, should I wait to buy a tank until summer when I should be working full time on site, to get a good tank when i can afford it?

68/3000s are ~$150. It's a good size (the 68ci) to put the gun in front of u (not supper close or really far) And since u don't need to worry about running outta air. Might be a option.

How heavy are those tanks (the 68/70)? They wouldnt be much more then the 47ci would they. I had previously ignored them because I thought they would be even heavier then the 47. Then again I shoot a spyder so its not some high performance light weight marker.

The tank weighs about as much as my Superbolt.
I don't really care about weight. It's not like 6 pounds (total setup) is any kind of major load or anything.

Just look around. I was talking to a guy at a local field who had 3 tanks... I asked him why he had so many, and if he needed them all, etc. He said no and I asked if I could buy one. He said 100 bucks.
Good thing I just cashed my paycheck.
$100 for a mint condition pure energy 68/45 hpa tank w/ a rhino cover = great deal...

So in other words the 68 or 70ci would not be to much more weight? Im only concerned about weight because I played in a scenario in august and my pilot with full hopper and 20 CO2 got very heavy as the day went on, but that is just one day (8hrs) and I probibly not worry about it. Ill look into the large steel.

I know that the fiber tanks are a lot lighter. I inquiring about the difference in weight for the 48ci steel over the 70ci steel.
