HPA Tank on a Low Pressure Setup

Hey guys, it's actually been a while since I posted in these forums but I think I need a confirmation on a small issue before I go purchasing a new HPA tank. I'm converting my Spyder to a low-pressure setup and I want to know if I should go with a high pressure or low pressure tank?

I'm most likely going to stick with a PE, Crossfire, or Java tank. I have the Palmer's Stabilizer and I'm going to buy the low-pressure spring kit for it. I just want to reassure myself that I can use a high-pressure tank and use my low-pressure Stabilizer to set the psi manually to a low pressure around the 300psi range.

So what's the 411?

well considering how your converting 2 low pressure u can use a low pressure tank... but you mite as well stay with high, the reg will lower it down to the needed psi

Yeah I figured I'd be ok with getting a high pressure 45/4500 while using my Stabilizer to adjust the output through the gun. Stabilizer claims to adjust 0-800psi so I'm going to have to tune it to see if I can get my desired psi. This will determine if I really need that low-pressure kit from Palmer's or if I should just buy the Fatty Stabilizer.

You're going to need more than a reg and spring kit to get anywhere near 300psi.
1.New bolt
2.New valve
3.Polished internals (mainly striker)
4.Barrel with no porting on the rear 1/2-2/3

Uh yeah, I'm aware of that. I've done my research via Otter's. I'm just trying to clarify the issue between the pressure leaving the tank and going into the Stabilizer. I realize that the pressure leaving the tank must be slightly more than what the Stabilizer is limiting at so that the Stabilizer is being choked of psi due to the tank itself.

The pressure coming out of the HP compressed air systems is about the same as what the co2 is on average. You will be fine with a high pressure tank and will be able to use it on just about any gun you get.
