Removing CO2 Liquid from Co2 Tank

I am shipping my tanks, can anyone tell me the best way to remove the co2 from the tank before I ship?

Thanks,

Shoot until it sputters... Recock, then shoot... Repeat a couple times or until you can push the pin down with your finger and nothing comes out.

Find a really really hard corner and press the pin down until it stops letting gas out.
I don't know if that's good for it or not though...

an easy way to do it, is to screw it into your asa, take the hose off first though. do this outside.

Yea like they said, take the ASA off of your gun, or use a spare one. Just screw that onto the top of the tank and let it go until empty. Probably best to put them outside, more so that you don't have to listen to the hissing noise.

After the tank warms up again, bleed it again. It might become cold enough to lat dry ice stay inside and it'll turn back to a gas as it warms up.

What he said. I keep a spare asa in my bag, just for bleeding tanks.

Thanks for all the replys - I think im going to hook the tank to the gun and let her drain. So I may have to do this a few times or will the one time be enough?

Thanks again!

Empty by shooting? Once should be enough, you can go for twice if you want. Won't hurt anything.

I guess that was a joke or at least a not-so-serious reply.

Do not remove anything from a pressurized tank. Ever. Bleed it with your gun by shooting or with a spare asa or anything else, but do not take it apart.
