Refills

Hi,

I want to get my own gun for shooting with my friends and stuff in the woods (not a pump gun) but i would need to get disposable c02 canisters because there is no where near that could refill a re-fillable one for me. What places would refill c02 tho??

The 4oz disposables cost about 6 (about $10?) but don't they only shoot 100 shots!???! This is mad!

Is there any other alternatives, Air is too expensive, and disposable is stupid because I don't want to be dragging around 5 canisters when I go out! Plus it'll be very expensive.

Arggghh

Thanks!

I take it all of your friends use pumps with 12 gram CO2s?

I dunno what to tell you. Look for welding companies, or airsmiths at all. They may be able to fill a CO2 tank.

About your only choice is to buy a pump that runs off 12g (small disposable cylinders, the same kind used in bb guns). If you buy a semi, and then add a 12g adaptor, you will only get about 10 shots per 12g, so thats not really an option. Sorry, but pump is your only choice.

They don't come to you filled, and you still need to get them refilled when they're empty anyway, so there's no point. What is he gonna do, hook a hose up to his mouth to refill it? lol

And I know that some Walmarts fill CO2 tanks, and I know that they suck at it. Like, they'll most likely overfill your tank and blow a burst disk. But they'll replace it if that happens. Give them a try.

I've never seen a Walmart before so that's not an option, umm I guess I'll look for some sort of company.

Btw if I used compressed air, which I know is expensive to start, couldn't I get it from places like tyre fitters, petrol stations ect.? Or is that different.

Thanks!

If they can fill tanks to either 3,000psi. or 4,500psi. depending on what tank you get, then that'll work. Any scuba places around you? Some fire stations may be able to fill air tanks.

Looks as if he lives overseas...walmart isn't worldwide you know

You can check fire stations, or gas supply places.

r3dt@rget's idea might not be bad either. If you can find a place to fill the larger co2 tank, even if it is an hour drive or so away, then you could get that filled and that should last you for a few times of paintballing before you had to make a long trip again

Well that is what I meant... If there is nowhere close, get a big tank, fill it somewhere, then you wont have to go very far to fill tanks, and you can charge your friends to fill theirs lol...

Cool yea firestations hmmm I'd feel a bit silly going there though! Plus they probably don't have a license or whatnot to sell it.

Compressed air is compressed air. Ya know those free car tyre pumps at garages???? yea?

Btw what do you guys use..? where u get filled?

no the tire pumps wont work, they dont have a high enough PSI, otherwise it would blow the tires.

pretty much anyone here gets their tanks filled at their local PB store/field. I get my Co2 filled at this place called hobbyworld.

Yeh, all mine is done at the PB store or a field. The tire things at gas stations are probably around 100 PSI, and that isnt enough to even run most guns.

The fire station may give you the air if they have a compressor. You would have to ask, and then make sure that either they or you have the correct fitting to hook the tank up. IDK if its the same thing where you live, but around here a lot of the fire departments have fiber wrapped tanks that they use for their breathing air, and they do all of their filling and stuff in house.
