Anyone own their own scuba tank to fill their own tanks?

Hi. i was just curious if anyone here owned their own scuba tank to do fill their own tanks. How much does it cost to get one of those filled? Where would you get them filled? A lot of the tanks say they should only be filled by certified people. How do you get certified? Like what is the certification called? thanks for any replies in advance.

I dont personally own them, but my friends do. All we have to do is take them to our fire department(which we are a part of) and they can fill them for us, or we can fill them using their compressors.

i was just thinking the other day that they can't be overly prices to get them filled or otherwise no one would scuba dive. I think the main cost of it is buying the intial tank and equipment to fill.

is that 5 dollars to get a tank for the gun filled or 5 dollars to fill up a scuba tank for a at home n2 fill station? If so over time the tank and equipment to fill it would pay for itself. Right now it cost me 5.99 to fill my tank but i heard there is a scuba store in a nearby town so im going to go there and see if they will fill them and how much they charge.

Should only be like $5 to fill the scuba tank, then you can fill your paintball tanks up as much as you can.

Are the tanks that can fill 4.5k a lot more expensive? Most scuba tanks i see are 3k psi. Also does anyone know of a good buyers guide for scuba tanks as pertaining to paintball? When looking for tanks i see a lot of specs that i don't know and i wouldnt want to pay more for a tank cuz it has some feature that is useful for scuba diving. How did you learn how to fill the paintball tanks on your own? I'll get any certifcation i'd need to if necessary i just don't know what the cert would be called and whatnot. thanks for your replies in advance.

Scuba can't goto 4500psi. Some people have said that fire dept tanks can. Now most scuba shops can fill to 4500 though.
