I prefer the PMI for the simple fact that the regs have a set screw on the bonnet and are 'user serviceable' meaning that you can tear down and maintain the reg very easily and ensure many years of flawless service.

Crossfire seems to have a better resale and decent customer service. (PMI also has great customer service.)

If buying used, be sure to check the dot #'s to make sure your not getting a recalled cylinder.
4500 is by far the standard in most places. I would recomend 4500 over 3000. the cost is not that much different and the potential to have more shots on the field is worth it.

*moving to correct forum. (In the future please try and post your threads in the correct section)

There has been a recall on some tanks. If your buying new, you should be fine. If your buying new, check for a recalled cylinder before you pay for it.

My experience with crossfire is that their tanks tend to run a little lower on the output for a Hi-Out tank, but their regs are rock solid

PMI, on the other hand, does have the user serviceable reg, and generally lower costs for the same tank, but people have reported that PMI regs start to creep after a while. (PMI regs are used on LOTS of various brands of tanks, too.. EVIL, PE, PMI, 3A and a couple others)
