the good stuff

ok to start it off im fairly new to paintballing been playing woodsball for about 6 months and was wanting to get into speedball so i gotta job at taco bell to save up for a better gun and i got a Ion with one of the cheaper halo backman hoppers and a 50/30 worrgas tank and i was thinking of being a backman with my friends but i thought about it and figured that i would defenently need a bigger tank and my question is since we fill up with a scuba tank would i have to get a 3k tank or could i get a 4500 and fill that up and if not what would be the best tank to get thanks for your help

Move up to the 4500 PSI tank because it will let you get more shots with a tank thats the same physical size as a 3000 PSI tank. However if your scuba tank is only capable of holding 3000 PSI then you will not be able to fill a 4500 PSI tank to 4500 PSI and it will only be as effective as a 3000 PSI tank.

My friends and I have always great experience with Crossfire brand tanks and i would definently reccomend one. As far as how big of a tank, many people find that the 68 cubic inch tank is a nice mix of both size and capacity. I currently have a 70 cubic inch 4500 PSI stubby tank made by crossfire.

Ya, exactly what Roadkill said.

Get a 4,500psi. for the extra shots, especially for a backman.

First check if your shop can fill up to 4,500psi.

I also love my 68ci. Crossfire. They have some of the best regulators on their tanks. And the size/height is great. Not too big, not too heavey.

I've been meaning to find out how the new Custom Products tanks are. I know their regulators are nice, and the tanks are supposed to be light as hell. I'd look more into them if I were you.
