Nitro Tank losing pressure.

I just got a 3000psi nitro tank, and I filled it two weeks ago. I was looking at the gauge yesterday, and it dropped from 2500psi to 2000psi. Is this normal? It doesn't appear to be a big, or dangerous leak.

Thanks

I wouldn't think it is a big deal. Did you just fill it when it was at 2500? Or did you check it and it was at 2500 a few hours after the fill?

I ask, because when tanks are filled, unless filled very slowly, the air in side the tank will be hot so it is expanded. So after it cools down a little bit it loses pressure.

Any tank will leak anyways. NOTHING has a perfect seal. You can get close, but again, nothing is perfect.

Tanks slowly loose pressure irregardless, I have never seen one that will hold pressure for longer then a month without needing a new fill.
