Im new to paintball and i like to know how everything works on my gun. I was wondering what a regulator does and an expansion chamber does. What are the differences between each one too? thank you for the help.

A regulator does just that, it regulates.
It keeps the pressure going into your gun pretty consistant.

An expantion chanber does just that, acts as an extra space for liquid CO2 to expand. If using HPA, it's pretty much useless.

ok cool, no that answered my questions. So a regulator just keeps your air pressure consistent so all your shots are accurate?

my friend hasa carbon tank he will sell me. it a 30 psi tank. Should buy it or get a 45 and what is the difference between 30 and 40? i know te pressure but is it less balls to shoot or ore accurate?

Get a 45, nothing really the 45 holds more air.
